NEW Terminator Movie Trilogy In Works With Original Cast

The Terminator Franchise is returning with a 3 Movie Trilogy that will include both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton.
And its been after more than 25 years since their roles as the Killing Machine and one of the baddest female characters ever, Sarah Connor were on filmed on screen together.

Looks like the movie will be produced by James Cameron and Directed by Dead Pools very own Tim Miller.

This is great news for those that think we are needing more female leads in action movies.
Im hoping to see Sarah again as the main character and it would be even cooler to see Schwarzenegger back as the main bad guy for this film Trilogy.
And then.. Anyone remember that Song "Im too Sexy" by Right Said Fred?
Really catchy song that came out in 1992 and was the biggest hit on their Album UP.
The song was recently sampled By Taylor Swift in her new song Look What You Made Me Do and she even gave them co-song writer credits for her song.
Not sure if they will get paid for it, but they didn’t even know about the mashup until a few weeks ago.
But, it looks like Right Said Fred returned the favor and made a new mashup song of their own, and it’s a fun little version of both songs mixed in together.
Right Said Fred has in recent months really ramped up their presence on YouTube and have put out about 6-7 new videos on their channel in the last month alone.
Fun band to listen to and you guys might enjoy the nostalgia trip, so ill link to the video down below.
Then we've got some new Gadget news.
Looks like Polaroid is poised to return with a new instant photo camera and this one will run you a cool 100 bucks.
Its even going to reuse the ONE STEP 2 name it was famous for during its introduction in 1977.
The film for the camera comes in black and white or color and is going to be priced at about 16.00 for a 8 picture cartridge.
It looks a lot like the original version, down to the colors and style and is now up for preorder and is expected to ship October 16th. I link to it down below.
And in some Retro Toy news, I'd be remiss if I didn’t mention that one of the greatest line of Transformers in the 80s has got to be the Dinobots.
And with that, Hasbro has announced that they are reviving the Dinobot toy line with a new combiner, called Volcanicus.
It will be comprised of 5 bots that combine to form the one Giant Robot that just may be tougher than Predaking.
There's tons of Transformer fan out there that are ecstatic for this news and its been a long time coming.
And in Retro Fashion news, I just have to show you this train wreck of a Fashion Show that was put on in Milan Italy by GUCCI on September 20th.
If there was ever an example of how horrible 80s clothes could be, this fashion show has showed us that, in all its glory.
These are the type of clothes that are what made people cringe about 80s fashion. Not sure what GUCCI is thinking
And last up is that, the man that turned millions of young virile boys to hiding magazines under mattresses and attics and made twins quiver in their stockings has just died.
I was about to start recording the show and this news story popped up on my feed, so I had to make sure to add it in.

Hugh lived the life of luxury, helped usher in the age of sexuality, and was the envy of men the world over. Good or bad, Hugh made a huge impression on Art, Fashion, and even some great Beverly Hills Cops Movies.
Not so sure what his afterlife is gonna be like, but i'm guessing he's probably saying oh crap, right about now regardless!

Halloween Sequel Coming in 2018

And first thing today is that Toys R US which is one of the largest toy companies in the world, has filed for bankruptcy protection.
Toys R Us, also known as TRU was started way back in 1948 and has grown to have more than 1600 stores worldwide.
TRU was one of my favorite stores as a kid and like you probably can remember, it was a great place to see all the cool new toys coming out and who could ever forgot that great jingle from the early 1980s.
Man I still enjoy hearing that song..
So, although TRU is going through a restructuring of their debt so they can continue to stay afloat, they did say that they will not be closing their stores, so I guess this is some good news.
I for one would hate to see a iconic toy store like TRU have to close up shop.
Not only are they a staple of my childhood, they have made a huge impact on the toy market and continue to be a favorite among adults and kids alike.
What do you think about the Toys R US bankrultcy?
Do you think they should just throw in the towel and let other toy sellers like Amazon and Walmart go ahead and corner off the market, or are you glad they are trying to stay in business? I'd love to hear what you think!
And now, lets move onto some RETRO Movie and TV news!
Jamie Lee Curtis is going to be coming back for 1 more Halloween Movie. This was just announced Friday.
The Halloween Franchise consists of 10 movies in the series, and I think the first 3 were the best of the group, although some of the later ones were also pretty entertaining.
Jamie Lee Curtis's character Laurie died in Halloween: Resurrection back in 2002, so its going to be pretty interesting to see how they bring her back for this new movie.
Theres been some news that the new movie will be taking place in an alternate timeline and she will be alive and well in this movie which may take place after the 2nd movie.
All the movies after the first 2 were essentially alternate timelines as well, so this may be the REAL ending we all were hoping for with Laurie and Michael.
Only Time will tell.
And next.
For those Fuller house fans, the Fuller Houses Season 3 Premiere is on September 22nd and is celebrating the show Full Houses 30th anniversary.
All the original cast is coming back for the premiere, minus the Olson Twits of course.
I loved the old show, but I'll admit I havent been as excited about the new series, although its got pretty descent reviews.
Then, Just to throw out a few really cool RETRO music players. Heres some pics of some of the cool players for those that love to listen to music on their old VINYL.
I remember playing some old Michael Jackson records and I even have a few records that I still play on a 1900 century phonograph I own.
And that’s all the Retro News we have for this week!

So, If you liked this video, be sure to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss any of the cool Nostalgia news each week!
I Hope you enjoyed the show and I'll see you in the next video!
Thanks for watching!

Jolt Cola Returning This Year

You might remember many stars that got their start on the Mickey Mouse club in the 1990s. Like Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, or Ryan Gosling which may ring a bell?
Well all these celebrities were once Disney hopefuls and turned into huge movie and music stars, and it looks like Disney is now planning to again resurrect the club with a new generation of hopefuls.
But this time, they are taking a social media approach by casting 8 new Mouseketeers that unlike their previous club member generations, are already huge social media influencers.and each has a large presence on platforms like twitter and Instagram which in today's world is as important as being on TV.
The new club is going to have a mainly digital presence on Disney's Instagram and Facebooks Club Mickey Mouse pages, doing online skits and music videos and such.and it actually premiered on september 8th, so you can already check it out now. Ill link to their page down below for those interested in the reboot.
Do you remember the Old Mickey Mouse Clubs from the 90s, or even the 70s ones, Im curious about how you feel about a digital reboot.

And NEXT, the once famous soda called JOLT Cola is making a comeback.
Jolt, which was heavily injested by old school hackers and video gamers in the mid 1980s has seen its share of love and criticism.
It was a popular drink that basically hit you with a rush of caffeine and although it didn’t have as much sugar in it as COKE classic, it did have about 4 times the amount of caffeine!
According to Jolts parent Company, JOLT will be carried in your local DOLLAR GENERAL store for 1 year.
Ill be honest, in all the years I remember JOLT being around growing up, I NEVER tried it.
And from what I remembered it, people said it taste a cross between RC and Pepsi, so I just never was interested.
Anyways, Once I hear an update on when JOLT will be released in stores, ill let you RETRO heads know!
And first is that there's a Greatest American Hero reboot in the works at ABC.
Its still in the early stages with a PILOT episode being ordered, but something interesting of note is that the lead character will be a female this time.
And really, this isn't huge news either cause when the show originally ended back in 1983, the retroacted last episode actually had the main character passing off the costume to a female that was supposed to carry on the name.
I actually loved the show growing up, even though the special effects sucked and the show only lasted 45 episodes.
And next in news, Good Ol' Jeff Bridges, who starred in the 80s Sci-Fi STARMAN has been trying to strum up some interest for a STARMAN 2.
During his recent promotion of his new movie the KINGSMEN: The Golden Circle, he brought up his interest in a STARMAN 2 and said he has made some notes on how the story would play out but wouldn’t talk about that in case the movie is made.
I enjoyed this movie growing up, even though it was a slow movie and not really a lot of action – Sorta reminds me of ENEMY MINE, which starred Dennis Quaide and Louise Gossett Jr.
Also, for those that remember Debbie Gibson, the popular singer from the 80s. Shes gonna be on this seasons DANCING WITH THE STARS.

Fan Made Star Wars May Be Better Than Originals

For those that are huge Star Wars Fans, and even those that aren't - you should know something about Star Wars episodes 4, 5 and 6
Im talking about A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.
Then we got the Special Editions, which were suppose to be George Lucas's remastered films with ton of changes to make the films better.
Lucas even said he wanted to "finish the film the way it was meant to be". Well, the problem is, he actually made some changes that many consider to have made it worse.
So, this is where a guy named Adywan comes in.
Adywan is a Star Wars fanatic that decided to take it upon himself to create the Star Wars Revisited Project.
His goal is to make all of the fan edits that he and the community of fans thought should be fixed to make the 3 trilogy films great.
Adywan has made literally 100's of fan edits to each film that made vast improvements on what many Star Wars fans would consider a must to give the films the continuity and cohesiveness they deserve.
Adywan first worked on A New Hope first , and then released his fan edit project in 2008. It was met with huge success and praise from many critics.
This release had hundreds of edits alone, and then again in late August 2017, he finally released the final version of The Empire Strikes Back!
I've watched Adywans A New Hope, and really enjoyed it. He cleaned up the colors, make tons of seamless changes that helped the film, and ill give you guys just one spoiler from his edits - Han Solo definitely shot first!
Adywan has made the video free to download and I believe the only requirement is that you already own a paid copy of the OFFICIAL DVD before downloading.
So, if your interested in learning more about Adywan and his fan edit, ill link to his site in the comments down below.
And in more RETRO movie news
IT will be in Theaters on Friday! And this Nostalgic remake has been on all the Steven King fans minds since 1990 when the Television Movie version starring Tim Curry as Pennywise came out.
For its time, it was actually a pretty good movie, but it really did deserve the big screen treatment.
And now we have it!
Then, in TV news - the season finaly of Twin Peaks: The Return just aired this last Sunday, and boy was it a doozie!
If your one of those that has never watched Twin Peaks in the early 90s- I want to highly recommend it but only if you like twisted and mind altering suspense dramas.
In other words, you watched one of these and like it: CARNIVAL, American Horror Story, or The newly resurected X-Files.
And on the Retro gaming scene, we are all aware of the Atari Box being announced by Ataribut to tide us over, they also announced a new handheld console that will be coming out in November.
From what we've learned, it will play be preloaded with 50 of the old classic games from the Atari 2600 and the price on this handheld will come in at about 50 dollars.
From the pictures, they handheld tries to capture some of that nostalgia look we see in the old Atari 2600 and early information says that the game controller response is fantastic.
The one downfall of this system is that it does not come with a AC charger and will require batteries to run. if that’s not old school - I don’t know what is.
So, last up – is RETRO FLASH, where I briefly mention the stories we didn’t get to in this episode but you might still be interested in!
I found a new article that explains how a photo shoot may have been the catalyst that broke up the band Van halen. Loved this band growing up, so was sorta interesting to see this take on the bands demise.
And in some Old Celebrity News. Apparently there was a 80s themed Labor Day party that John Stamos attended for Nina Dobrevs and he wore a Uncle Jesse Tshirt to it. I think that’s pretty funny and shows his sense of humor. Ill link to that story below.

Doing a Q and A for RETRO CRUNCH 20th Episode! Your Questions Answered!

So…. This episode is a little Special one to me.. RETRO CRUNCH has finally made it to the 20th episode on the channel!!
When I first started Retro Crunch, I knew there wasn’t really any channels that talked about news that related to Nostalgia and Retro stuff.
Ya, theres like Retro Gaming channels, and ones that talk about Nostalgia movies. But not one that told us news about old child stars, cool Movie reboots, and Retro fashion - all in one place.
So, that’s what I did - I made a channel dedicated to those things that I really love.
And that’s what got me interested in doing the channel. I love the 70s 80s and 90s and love following the trends, movies, and stuff from the old school.
And that’s where we are today.
And since you know a lot more about the channel, I wanted to try a Q and A to let you guys know more about me and some of my interests for a change!
Over the months of the channel, I've received a few messages asking about me or the channel. Granted, I didn’t get A LOT of mail, but enough for me to put together a Q and A.
So, I thought this would be a great chance to answer some of those questions!
So lets get started!
#1. First question coming from PaulaBean88 is: Why don’t you do topics about the 50s or 60s?
#2. Next question - this person didn’t want their name mentioned.
You talk about Ready Player One a lot. Have you read Enders Game? DARK TOWER
#3. DmonCeed - Can I be on your show?
#4. AlexwithaX wote - Whats your favorite Old Movie?
He also asked - Whats your favorite Christmas? I got DEVISTATOR and JETFIRE transformers for xmas. 1985.
#6. EMAIL ADDRESS, didn’t sign. Do you talk about old anime on your show?
#7. Sadie in New York wrote - I enjoyed the MLP episode, you should do more episodes about that. There is a very diverse and large canon about the ponies, I think your audience would enjoy it.
#8. 80sraider84 wrote me this - Whats your favorite cartoons growing up.
#9. And that’s the questions I have so far - But I'll throw in a few of my own!
My favorite color is BLUE.
I grew up in a mixed family. My Mom is white and my stepdad who ive grew up with since age 3 is Black. You wanna Talk about a very interesting childhood.
My favorite Food is Mexican Food.
Some of my favorite hobbies are collecting Comic Books, vintage toys and memorabilia, and I love to watch old 70s and 80s TV Shows like CHEERS and MASH.
I love animals! I post about them all the time on facebook. My friends probably get tired of it.
Alright. So, that’s it for the Q and A. I hope I answered some of the questions you might have been wondering about, and if not, shoot me a message on here or twitter or email me at retrocrunch84@gmail.com and maybe I can answer your question if and when I do another Q and A.
So that’s where were ending todays show. If you liked this video, please don’t forget to subscribe to the channel so you don’t miss out on the current Nostalgia News every week.
