Amazon launches The Retro Zone - Dedicated to Retro Gaming and is giving away 5 SNES classics in celebration of the launch!

Amazon is launching a new Webstore for Retro Gaming and accessories, just in time for the huge retro gaming and nostalgia craze.  The new store is called The Retro Zone and will sell everything from retro mobile apps and consoles, to retro clothing and books.

Nostalgia gaming is becoming hugely popular again, and nothing proves this more than Amazon creating a whole new shopping section on its website just for Retro gaming and related items.  The Amazon store portal is called The Retro Zone, and it will feature mobile apps related to retro games and items sold in the Amazon store.

Along with selling mobile games, the store portal will be a one stop shop for all your retro gaming needs, to include Retro consoles such as the SNES Classic and 3DS XL SNES Edition, in addition to retro toys, gadgets, clothing, and books.  If it has to do with Nostalgia and retro gaming, it seems that The Retro Zone will have something to fit your fancy.

If your looking for great deals on nostalgia games, The Retro Zone will also feature specials and discounts on various mobile games and accessories each month.  With developers like SEGA, Atari, Nintendo, and Square Enix - you can expect to see some great deals each month.

To get the word out, Amazon is doing a give-away of 5 SNES Classics, that you can enter for the drawing by just sending out a tweet on Twitter.  FInd out more on their website.  It sounds easy enough to enter, and Amazon is going through great lengths to push interest in the new portal.  It should have no trouble, with all the craze for everything relating to Nostalgia these days.  Shows like Stranger Things and with Nintendo releasing mini consoles of its popular retro gaming systems, it may not have come at a better time.

Click here to check out The Retro Zone for yourself, or via the Amazon app on your smart phone.
